Hypnotherapy is a safe, non-invasive therapy that can be used to treat a wide range of issues including:

  • habits & addictions
  • fears and phobias
  • emotional issues
  • weight management issues
  • childhood trauma
  • confidence issues
  • sports performance

How does Hypnotherapy work?

The subject of hypnosis is a fascinating one, any science or therapy that delves into the working of the mind - something we are still endeavouring to understand - courts controversy, speculation and any number of theories.

Hypnotherapy is no exception to this. Essentially it works by interacting with the clients subconscious mind. When we are wide awake (fully conscious) our conscious mind hogs the limelight, whilst the subconscious mind keeps a waiting and watching brief. When a client is in a deeply relaxed state the subconscious mind has the chance to come to the party whilst the conscious mind drifts into a place of relaxation.

The subconscious mind is our place of truth and knowledge, where memories attached to emotions are stored away. Hypnosis can unlock these memories and release any "hidden" trauma or issues, including that from past lives that could be limiting you from moving forward in your current life.

It can be life changing to eliminate phobias that hold you back. I understand that it can be difficult to talk about what is stopping you (or the causes behind it), but please be assured that you will be treated in confidence, with empathy and compassion and that I will not judge you.

A full consultation will be taken before treatment commences. This gives both myself and my clients the opportunity to chat through any questions and plan the best form of therapy. Sessions can last up to 90 minutes including the consultation.
Cost for each session £60, includes any support CDs/MP3s.
